Happy Friday!
Big week for me, this is the last week of filling tanks indoors with tap water before I have to start blending with hot water. Also is marks the start of breeding season for me, planning crosses, moving fish out and in in preparation. For me, lots of excitement.
In other news I continue to look at new and different ways to purchase goldfish foods. Recently received a HIKARI growth food from King Koi and Goldfish, see picture. This stuff is really great for packing on the pounds in your young fish.
Also, Julie Marzak sent me to EBAY for AZAYAKA RANCHU Pellets. Chart attached suggests that they have five blends. The packages come direct from Japan and it is really cool the samples and stuff they include. Just search under Ranchu food.
Also time to toss the water hyacinths and excess lily pads outdoors so as not to encourage rot, anaerobic conditions and protozoan growth. Also, great time to change water in your outdoor ponds.
Talk to you soon! Gary Hater -Founder, The Goldfish Council.
